Meet the Acosta Family, Rafael, Claritza, Keira, and Kenia. I have had the pleasure to get to know this family over the years, and I am blessed to spend time capturing their first ever portrait session. A special thanks to a dear friend for gifting this session to this beautiful family. I am beyond grateful that you trust me to capture your family’s treasured memories! Portrait sessions are such a special gift. As Claritza and I discussed, you will never be the same as the day I capture the images. Children grow, change, and develop every day. Time flies and sharing your memories and freezing time is a truly special gift.
This session was filled with many laughs and stories. Rafael and Claritza have been married for eighteen years and are so proud of their two girls. Keira and Kenia are the sweetest! This family shares a special bond and value the time they spend with one another.
One of my favorite moments from this session was when I delivered their images to them. I am not usually present when I deliver the galleries, but I could share the photos in-person with Rafael and Clarizta. There were a lot of nerves in viewing the pictures, but they absolutely made my day in the joy, excitement, and shock at how beautiful the portraits turned out! I was honored to see their reactions and the happiness they shared in receiving their family gallery. That moment was such a gift, and I am blessed to work with such beautiful families! I am so thankful for the people that trust me and my art to capture life’s most important memories!
