Some sessions just linger in your heart and this one with Amanda and her three beautiful children, Hunter, Kenna, and Ryann, was one of those.
The afternoon light was soft and golden, wrapping everything in the kind of warmth you wish you could bottle up forever. The field was alive with tall grass and wildflowers swaying gently in the breeze, a dreamy setting that felt like it was made just for them.
Amanda looked radiant, full of quiet strength and joy, and her kids were simply glowing with childhood wonder. Hunter, age 6, was the perfect big brother, kind, curious, and always keeping a watchful eye on his twin sisters. Kenna and Ryann, at 2 years old, were full of pure, untamed joy. They twirled in the sun, giggled in unison, and wrapped their little arms around their mama like it was the safest place in the world (because it is).
Ryann melted my heart when we tucked a tiny flower behind her ear. She beamed like it was the most magical thing. A dandelion puff floated by and we paused to let her blow it into the breeze, her tiny cheeks full of determination and delight. The straw bag Amanda brought became a treasure chest for the kids, stuffed with leaves, petals, and whatever their little hands could find. Simple moments turned into little adventures.
The joy in this session was soft and sacred. It was found in the tickles that made the girls squeal, the way Hunter leaned into his mama’s hugs, the shared glances and laughter that only a mother and her babies can understand.
It was a reminder that sometimes the most beautiful stories are the ones told in the quiet, in sunlit fields, through whispered giggles, and with arms full of love.
Amanda, thank you for letting me witness and capture a piece of your beautiful story. These images are full of more than smiles. They’re full of connection, peace, and the kind of love that grows wild like the flowers around you.
