I was so surprised when Elyse contacted me about taking some maternity portraits! I captured some small belly pics before Christmas, and even received a New Year’s card with the portrait I shot! Side note, that is one of the best compliments you could ever give a photographer 🙂 However, now that her belly is really popping, Patrick talked Elyse into taking more portraits! And, LOOK how BEAUTIFUL she is!!!
The Lewis’ and I had the best time laughing and basking in the beautiful sunset in one of our fields in Dudley, TX during this dreamy maternity shoot. Patrick and Elyse radiated with pure joy during this special time. They are going to be parents! One of the most precious gifts from God! Elyse and I have shared many emotions in our journey to motherhood. I could not be happier for them! They are experiencing the beginning of great joys children bring to parents!
My absolute favorite part of photographing pregnant mothers are the memories. I still remember every single feeling. I enjoy touching bellies and discussing the excitement of feeling the baby move. I find joy in reliving those feelings with the future mother-to-be all over again. Motherhood is a gift. I love capturing some of the most important memories for the mother.
Patrick and Elyse, I wish many blessings on your future bundle of joy! Baby William will be showered with love and happiness! He will have the best role models. Patrick, you will be a wonderful father and Elyse, you will be a nurturing and loving mother. You now have the most rewarding job in the world, and you will be amazing.
